Staff IT Skills Enhancement Programme
Course Aim
To develop candidates’ competence necessary to meet the job-related demands in Information Technology by providing broad knowledge and hands-on experience.
Target Audience
Work Aids, Lab attendants, Management Assistants, Technical officers and Administrative staff members of the University of Peradeniya.
Medium of Instructions
The programme will be offered in Sinhala or English depending on the participants.

PROGRAMME EXECUTION METHOD
All participants should be registered for the module they are planning to take.
Placement test
- All applicants should sit for the placement test conducted by the IT Center.
- Content of the placement test will cover all the modules according to the category.
- Candidates who have achieved marks more than 80% for each module in the final examination and other evaluations (Projects) can obtain certificates.
Certificate issuing criteria
Candidates who have registered for the training program must have an attendance of 80% to be eligible to sit the final examination.
